Mr. Perry Townsend and son Ransom, of Superior, have returned from their visit to Sagniaw.

Miss Agnes Finnell, of Ann Arbor, spent Sunday at her home in Superior.

Mr. William Naylor, of Salem, visited Ann Arbor last Saturday.

Bert Brinkman, of Salem, has resumed his studies at the C. B. C. in Ypsilanti.

Miss Lelia Savage, of Ann Arbor, spent Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Edna Nowland, of Ann Arbor town.

School Commissioner Foster visited the schools in this civinity last Thursday and Friday.

Miss Mary Nanry, of Superior, is visiting her brothers in Northfield.

Mrs. May Tait spent Tuesday in Plymouth.

Mr. Wm. Bolgs, of Salem, has purchased a six horsepower gasoline engine. 

Mr. John Stafford was in Ann Arbor Tuesday.

The I. O O. G. of Salem held an initiation Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. Edwin Smith. Five new members were instructed in the mysteries of Gleanerism.

The Leland church gave a social Wednesday evening at the home of G. Pfeifle. A large crowd attended. 

Mrs. George Bunn spent Tuesday in Ann Arbor. 

William Walsh, of Ann Arbor, visited Superior last Friday in the interest of the Ann Arbor Music Co.

Mrs. Shaughness, and old and respected resident of Superior, died last Saturday at the age of 93 years. She had been an invalid for some time. The funeral took place Monday at 2 p. m. at the home of her son, Sig Shaughness, Rev. H. Tatlock, of Ann Arbor, officiating.
