PLAINTIFF GOT SIX CENTS

The slander case of Fred Hanselman vs. Charles Adrian, in which defendant was charged with making remarks derogatory to the character of the complainant, has occupied the entire time of the circuit court this week. A mass of evidence was introduced tending to prove that the remarks had the effect of estranging complainant's wife and family from him and caused him great worry and annoyance. The case went to the jury yesterday afternoon and this morning they came in with a verdict of six cents damages for plaintiff.
