NEWS NOTES FROM WHITTAKER

Whittaker, Mich., Oct. 15.- Rev. Mr. Metzer returned from Delray this morning.

Tuesday, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Hammond and sons participated in a family gathering at the home of Mrs. Hammond's father, Louis Kline, at Samaria, it being Mr. Kline's 83d birthday.

Wm. Druse died at his residence, north of town, this morning at 6 o'clock. He had been a resident of this town for several years and leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.

H. Roberts, of Stony Creek, was in own today. 

P. T. Lamkin is now able to walk with the aid of a cane.
