AUTUMN PARTY ON GEDDES AVE.

Miss Virginia Dailey, of 1308 Geddes avenue, gave a delightful autumn party to a small company Saturday evening. The decoration was naively rustic, being arranged with autumn leaves, long trails of bitter sweet and scarlet berries, and oak branches in the sear and yellow leaf. Nuts in their native resting place of dead leaves, and apples with the twigs still on, were spread on polished tables without the hint of a doiley. A great lighted jack-o'-lantern sat in the hall making a wry face at all this autumn array.

Cider and pumpkin pie, nuts, olives and salted peanuts offered up their fruits in due season, and music, fun and a whirl or two passed the night away till the clock struck--an the jack-o'-lantern grinned no more.
