Proposition Is to Bond County for $30,000

VOTE WAS UNANIMOUS

To Submit the Proposition, the Committee Reporting It Economy as Well as Great Public Benefit.

The county at the spring election, will vote upon a proposition to bond the county for $30,000 for the erection of a contagious disease hospital.

The committee , of the supervisors reported Friday afternoon that "a hospital would be not only a matter of economy but would result in a great public benefit." They, therefore, recommended that the question be submitted to the voters of the county at the election to be held on the first Monday in April, 1904, to vote for or against issuing bonds of the county for the sum of $30,000 for the purpose of building a county hospital.

The recommendation of the committee was unanimously adopted and the proposition will have the unanimous support of those electors who are at all familiar with the conditions which have made a county hospital necessary.

The question as to whether the motion to fix Judge Kinne's salary at $4,000, of which $1,500 was to be paid by the county, was legally reconsidered was settled and the salary fixed at $4,000.

The board, by a vote of 14 to 14 this afternoon refused to reconsider their action regarding the $400 allowance for the probate office.
