Jubilee Day For Zion Church

The New Hall to be Dedicated Next Sunday

Exercises to Take Place in Afternoon -- Young People's Anniversary in the Evening

The Zion Lutheran church will make Sunday a day of jubilee. Morning afternoon and evening, special services will be held. The early service beginning at 10 o'clock, standard time, will be the Reformation festival, which is observed annually, as commemorating the Reformation by Luther in the 16th century. Professor E. Gerfen, of Woodville, Ohio, will deliver the morning sermon. An offering will be taken at this meeting for the missionary church building fund.

The afternoon service which begins at 2:30 will be of the nature of the formal dedicatory church services. The new hall will probably receive a new name, to distinguish it from the meeting place of the Dowieites. The Rev. J. Vollmer, of Detroit, is expected to deliver the address, which will be in German, and speak words of encouragement and commendation to the Ladies and Young People's society, who undertook the work of building the hall. All the ladies of the church and organization will attend this service in a body. A voluntary offering will be taken in connection with this service which will go toward the hall.

The evening service, at 7 o'clock, will celebrate the seventh anniversary of the Y. P. society. Two addresses will be given, one in English by the Rev. E. Gerfen and one in German by the Rev. A. L. Nicklas. The young people will attend this service in a body and occupy seats reserved in the front of the church. The offering taken will flow into the treasury of the Young People's society, from whence it will no doubt be turned over to the fund for the hall.

Special music is being arranged for all the services and much enthusiasm is at work toward making this an acceptable day of the Lord.
