Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of an order granted to the undersigned administrator with the will annexed of the estate of said Jonas Marsh, by the Hon. Judge of Probate for the County of Washtenaw, on the 22d day of February, A.D. 1903, there will be sold at Public Vendue, to the highest bidder, at the south door of the Court House in the City of Ann Arbor in the County of Washtenaw, in said State, on SATURDAY, the FIFTH DAY OF DECEMBER, A.D 1903, at one o'clock in the afternoon of that day (subject to all encumbrances by mortgage or otherwise existing at the time of the sale) the following described real estate, to wit: Beginning at a point on the east and west quarter line of section number, ten, town two south, range five east, forty-four chains and forty links west of the east quarter post of said section number ten: thence east along the quarter section line forty-four chains and forty links to said quarter stake; thence north along said section line twenty-six chains and twenty-two links; thence west parallel with the quarter line sixteen chains and twenty-five links; thence north parallel with the section line ten chains and fifty links; thence west to the Huron river; thence along the southerly bank of said river to s stake standing on the southerly bank of said Huron river, north fifty-two degrees and fifteen minutes west, twenty-two links from a white oak tree twenty-two degrees and fifteen minutes east along the east bounds of Robert Giles' addition to the Village of Scio, to an angle in said plat; thence south  to the place of beginning, being a part of the northeast fractional quarter and of the south part of the northwest fractional quarter of section number ten, township, containing one hundred and twenty-seven acres of land more or less.

In the matter of the Estate of Caroline M. Root, deceased.

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of an order granted to the undersigned administrator of the estate of said deceased by the Hon. Judge of Probate for the County of Washtenaw, on the 28th day of July, A.D. 1903, there will be sold at Public Vendue, to the highest bidder, at the east front door or the Court House in the City of Ann Arbor in the County of Washetenaew, in said State, on MONDAY, the 7th DAY OF DECEMBER, A.D 1903, at two o'clock in the afternoon of that day (subject to all incumbrances by mortgage or otherwise existing at the time of the sale) the following at the time of the sale) the following described real estate, to wit: All that certain piece or parcel of land situate in the township of Salem, County of Washtenaw and State of Michigan, known bounded and described as follows to wit: The west half of the northeast quarter of section number twenty-nine, town one south, range seven east.

Satisfactory proof appearing to this Court by affidavit now on file that the whereabouts of the defendant cannot be ascertained, it is hereby ordered that said defendant appear and answer the bill of complaint filed in this cause within five months after this date.
