New Notes From Four Towns

Messrs. John Shankland, James Carraher and Frank Stafford will witness the Michigan-Minnesota ball game Saturday at Minnesapolis.

Mrs. Fred Galpin of Superior, is spending a few days in Detroit.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry Townsend were Ann Arbor visitors last Saturday.

Miss Louise Frazer of Northfield, was in Ann Arbor during the past week.

Mr. Wm. Smith had the misfortune to lose a valuable horse this week.

The barns of Robert Martin of Superior, were destroyed by fire Monday afternoon. The origin of the fire is unknown.

Halloween will be observed in the usual manner by the young people in this vicinity-a word to the wise is sufficient.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Bartlett of Superior, spent Friday of last week in Ann Arbor.

Mrs. Ida Greene was an Ann Arbor visitor Monday.

Messrs. M. Carney, J. Nanry, Will Kearney and Chas. Nanry, Jr., spent Sunday in Ypsilanti visiting friends.

Mr. Jno. Shankland and daughter Cora, were the guests of Dr. Lemon at Whitmore Lake last Sunday.

The L.O.TM.M of Emery gave a dance at their hall last Friday evening. Twenty couples were present and all report a fine time.

The L.A.S of Salem met at Mrs. Mae Taits Wednesday of this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zeeb will entertain a few of their friends Friday evening.

Miss Agnes Finnell of Ann Arbor, visited at her home for a few days during the past week.

The Misses Quackenbush and Savage of Ann Arbor, spent Sunday at the former's home near Dixboro.

Mr. John Stafford was in Ann Arbor Saturday on business.
