QUIET WEDDING WEDNESDAY

A quiet wedding took place Wednes-afternoon at 4:30 o'clock, when Alice M. Sherk, of this city, was married to Linus D. Case, of Dexter, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Sherk, 115 E. Kingsley street. The Rev. T. W. Young, of the First Baptist church, performed the ceremony, using the ring service. The house was decorated with palms and white chrysanthemums. Only the families of the bride and groom were present at the marriage, an the bride dressed in her traveling gown of brown, relieved only by the white of her silk waste, moved about informally among the guests, receiving their congratulations. After the ceremony the wedding dinner was served, immediately after which the bride and groom left on the 5:38 train for a wedding journey into the West. At the car they were greeted by a company of merrymakers who expressed their well wishes in the throwing of rice and the pronouncing of many blessings.

After "doing" some of the western cities, Mr. and Mrs. Case will be at home to their friends, Dec. 1, at 115 E. Kingsley street.
