OPERA "PATIENCE" WILL BE GIVEN

Sinfonia, the School of Music fraternity, have arranged to give an opera here in January. They will stage "Patience," by Sir Arthur Sullivan, author of "The Lost Chord," and of "Iolanthe," which was given last year by the Knights Templar. As this is the first of the operas to be given annually by Sinfonia, it will be staged and costumed regardless of expense. The case will number sixty people ond will include the best talent in the School of Music. Mr. Renwick begins drilling the chorus next week. The principal roles will be announced later. An orchestra of thirty pieces under the direction of Mr. Hofmann will be used.
