NIGHT SCHOOL SHOWS LARGE GAIN OVER LAST YEAR

Bible Classes Largely Increased Also—Other Interesting News Items

Night school has 86 students. Gain over last year, 40 per cent. New class in heating and ventilation a success. Attended by tinners and plumbers. 30 working boys, from 14 to 18, studying arithmetic and English two nights a week.

Bible classes have 54 students. Gain over last year 64 per cent; 32 men studying the Book of John; 4 men studying the Psalms; 18 boys studying the "Men of the Bible"; 2 classes for the leaders; 1 class for Sunday school teachers.

Star Course an assured success; 600 attended the first entertainment.

Sunday meetings—Speakers: Nov. 15, Rev. S. A. John, new pastor Bethlehem church; Nov. 22 and 29, Prof. J. C. Knowlton—two lectures—"The Jurisprudence of the Jews," and "The Trial of Jesus."

Week of prayer—20 minute services every night this week at 10 minutes of nine.

Colton of New York—Every member is invited to meet him in the Methodist church parlors Thursday evening at 7:30. During the evening he will tell of the association's world-wide work. This is the first time that an international secretary has spent an evening with our association. Don't miss it.

Annual election of directors Tuesday evening, Dec. 1st.
