Bushel Collection At Zion Church

The annual Harvest Home Festival was observed Sunday morning at Zion Lutheran church, and a "bushel" collection was taken, which amounted to $127 and will probably increase to $150. Everybody put in the cost of a bushel of something, and one of the largest collections the church has ever taken resulted in this offering, which is for the benefit of the Orphans' Home at Richmond. There was no service in the evening as the Rev. Mr. Nicklas was called to Detroit to preach at the Mission Festival.
