John O. Zabel, the Petersburg sage and electric railway promoter, having successfully launched his Toledo-Ann Arbor electric railway scheme evidently has no idea of resting on is laurels as the following will show:

Monroe, Mich., November 12. - Representatives of Ohio and eastern capitalists, accompanied by John O. Zabel, of Petersburg, who has been engaged as attorney for the syndicate, have been looking over the ground several days with a view of constructing an electric railway from Toledo by the way of Petersburgh, Tecumseh, a chain of lakes in Lenawee and Jackson counties, through Brooklyn to Jackson, Michi. The party returned today highly pleased with the prospect and stated that the work of securing private right of way and completing survey of the line would be started at once and that the road would be built as soon as the preliminary work was far enough advanced.
