FOUR TOWN NEWS NOTES

Four-Town District, Nov. 18.--Mr. Wright Wakely who has been visiting his sister, Mrs. W. Mosser, for the past week, has returned to his home at Portland, Mich.

Mrs. Alice Shankland of Salem, was an Ann Arbor visitor last Friday.

The following pupils of the Town-Line school were neither absent nor tardy during the fall term: Juliet Shankland, Blanch Bunn, Lois Nowland, May Carraher, Bessie Nowland, Cora Shankland.

Mr. Eugene Bartlett of the Normal spent Sunday with his parents in Superior.

Messrs. John Stafford, Wm. Fraser, A. Shankland, were in Ann Arbor Saturday.

A large crowd attended the Pumpkin-pie social at Mr. D. Curtis' Friday evening.

Mrs. Allie Shankland will entertaim the L. A. S. of Dixboro, at her home Thursday of this week.

Mr. Will Kern spent Sunday at his home in Ann Arbor town.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Botsford of Owosso, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. A. Nowland for a few days.

Mr. Wm. Smith and family of Salem visited Ann Arbor last week Friday.

Mr. Frank Lewis of Superior, will entertain his friends at "Flinch" Friday evening of this week.

Mr. L. Lowell of South Lyon was a Town-Line caller Tuesday.

Elizabeth Kearney and Harry Shankland attended the lecture given by the Rev. Sales at the Worden church Friday evening.

Messrs. Shankland, who are located in Alcona county, were fortunate in securing three deer the first day of their hunt.

The Sutton school will have a box social at the home of Mr. James Steffe on Wednesday evening, Nov. 25. Everybody welcome.
