IN HONOR OF HER GUEST MISS STORRS

---

A very delightful receptic was given last Friday afternoon by Mrs. James L. Babcock at her beautiful home on N. Division street, in honor of her guest, Miss Storrs. The guests were received in honor of her guest, Miss Storrs. The guests were received in the south reception room by Mrs. Babcock, Miss Storrs and Mrs. Victor White of Detroit and Mrs. George A. Speel.

The house was illuminated with electric lights and gas, and was lavishly decorated with flowers and ferns, the mantles in the reception and drawing rooms being banked in ferns and roses. Long stemmed American Beauty roses delighted the guests. In the dining room where elaborate refreshments were served the color scheme was white and green, the centerpiece on the table being a massive and beautiful arrangement of white chrysanthemums and delicate ferns. These colors were carried out in the ices, cakes and bonbons, and also in the punch served in the drawing room by Mrs. Edward Jones and Miss Fountaine. A mandolin orchestra stationed near the dining room furnished sweet music. Many guests were received during the afternoon which ended only too soon. Mrs. W. J. Herdman, Mrs. and Miss Clarkson, Miss Owen assisted in looking after the guests.
