The annual wolf hunt in the Kankakee (III.) marshes will take place the day before Thanksgiving and will be the greatest event of its kind ever held in the Kankakee district, says the Chicago News.  All the hunters and dogs in Kankakee county, with many from other counties, will participate in the day's sport. The wolves are unusually plentiful this year, and the ground dry.
