Chelsea, Nov. 20.- Coach McLaren of the Chelsea Juniors, a foot ball aggregation, says the his team will pull off a game with some Ann Arbor kids on Saturday of this week.

There was a big crowd at the auction sale of Hon. J. S. Gorman at his farm in Lyndon yesterday.

Last Sunday was the 18th anniversary of the pastorate of the Rev. Fr. Considine, of St. Mary's church, of this place.

Regular meeting of Columbia Hive Tuesday evening, Nov. 24. After the ceremony of initiation refreshments will be served and the wives have all extended an invitation to their husbands to come and partake of the good things.

Mrs. Fred Roedel will entertain on Saturday afternoon a number of her lady friends at her home by what is termed a "thumble party."

It is reported that the rooms recently vacated by Dr. A. L. Steger, D. DS. in the Staffan block have been rented to a gentleman from Ann Arbor, who expects to open a "tooth extracting and general repair shop" in that line soon.

LaFayette Grange will meet at the home of Geo. T. English Nov. 27.

The next regular meeting of St. Mary's Literary club will be held at the home of Miss Mabelle McGumes.
