De Witt of Princeton.
Out of the chaos of struggling limbs riseth the fame of De Witt;
Tall and steady and strong of soul,
Quick and ready, he made the goal.
Carve him high on the shining roll-
Captain of Princeton and master of grit!

Dauntless the heroes whose muscles tense
battled the band of De Witt;
Swift to hustle the flag of blue,
Strong in tussle and crafty, too.
Then to whom is the slaughter due?
De Witt, the captain, the master of grit!
