Miss May Stiller of Howell, is the guest of her aunt, Miss Ann Stafford of Superior.

Mr. D. Nanary of Superior was the lucky winner of a sideboard at the Catholic fair recently held at Dexter.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris O'Connor of Ann Arbor, have moved to Northfield where they will reside with the latter's mother, Mrs. Wagner.

The Misses Pfieffle and Flintoff of Northfield, were Ann Arbor visitors Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Lovelace of Salem were tendered a miscellaneous shower last Friday evening by their Salem frends.

The young people of the Laphain church of Superior, will give a social at Mr. John Smith's on Friday evening of this week.

Mr. Veeder Shankland, superintendent of the County Farm, and granddaughter Bessie Lemon, of Whitmore Lake, spent Tuesday at John Shankland's in Superior.

Miss Lelia Savage and Zadie Quackenbush, who have been spending a few days at their homes in Superior, returned to Ann Arbor, where they have accepted a position with the Hoag Supply store.

Miss Elizabeth Kearney of Superior, spent Sunday in Plymouth.

Mr. Lawrence Whalen of Superior, has returned from a visit with his sister, Mrs. M. Donohue, at Michigan City.

Prof. Sweet of Salem was in South Lyon Friday evening, where he furnished music for a dance given at the opera house.

Miss Allura Rudel of Northfield, attended the sixth annual initiation of the Zeta Phi Sorority at Ypsilanti Friday evening.

Mrs. Bell Bunn of Superior, was in Ann Arbor Monday.

At the regular meeting of the L. O. T. M. M. of the Emory lodge, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: Commander, Mrs. Emma Kock; Lieut. Commander, Mrs. B. Bunn; finance keeper, Mrs. E. Smith; record keeper, Mrs. Clara Frye; sergeant, Mrs. Armelia Burke; mistress at arms, Mrs. K. Zeeb; picket, Mrs. B. Mosser; sentinel, Mrs. Edna Nowland; chaplain, Mrs. Youngs; P. S. Com., Mrs. Miller.
