Mr. and Mrs. Vern Wood gave a party for Mr. D. A. Smith of Detroit, Saturday evening.

Miss Minnie Densmore of Milan, visited friends here Friday and Saturday.

Mrs. Post of Belleville was a caller in Willis this week.

The Gleaners of Whittaker, gave a ball at their hall Friday night. Some Willis people attended.

Rev. Joel Martin and wife have left for California, where they will spend the winter.

Mrs. Sophia Pulner of Tecumseh, has been visting her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Ruthruff.

Hon. H. C. Smith of Adrian, gave a talk in Willis Friday night, which was much enjoyed.

Miss Maud Williams of Cleary College, is at home with scarlet fever.

Miss Jessie Briening has a new piano.

Ashby Fowler has moved to Milan, and intends to work in a factory there.

The creamery association unloaded a car of soft coal this week.

Mrs. Herman Simmons is reported to be out of danger.

For the past two weeks our mail carrier has been having five teams drawing wood, he is rather proud of his wood pile.
