DOES IT WORK WELL

Every Farmer Speaks Highly of the Michigan Five-Horse.

This gasoline engine, the favorite of our Michigan farmers, is one of the greatest helps to the tiller of the soil that he can secure. It is made so perfectly and is so simple in construction that it does its work in first-class style, gives no trouble at all, and costs next to nothing to run. The Michigan Five-Horse weighs about 1,000 lbs., is electric ignited, and is fitted with dry batteries, switches, etc. The oil can be held in the cast-iron base, or served from a separate tank as desired. For feed cutting, grinding, sawing, deep well-pumping, etc., no other engine in the world can surpass it. The constantly extending use of gasoline engines on the farm is a proof of their convenience and profit to the farmer, and in selecting an engine we have no hesitation in recommending the Michigan Five-Horse for first choice. Other models of less power, pump jacks, etc., made by the National Engineering Co., Saginaw, W. S., Mich., are equally well built and effective for their uses. The company's illustrated booklet describes them, and every farmer should write for a free copy.
