Local Attorney As Santa Claus
LOCAL ATTORNEY AS SANTA CLAUS
A local attorney heard that there were a number of letters to "Santa Claus," being held up at the post office for lack of postage, so he paid what was due and was given the missives.
The letters of the usual kind written by children to their mysterious benefactor, and some were pathetic in the extreme, one little girl in particular revealing a sad story of poverty and vain longing for "what rich people have." In the case of those where the address was given an investigation will probably be made to ascertain if the conditions are indeed as stated by the little writers.
