HER HUSBAND HAS LIQUOR HABIT

BERTHA SCHUENIGHT THEREFORE WANTS A DIVORCE

Also Wants Husband Prevented From Drawing Bank Deposit

Bertha Schuenight, of York township, filed divorce proceedings Saturday against her husband, William J. Schuenight; and also an application for an injunction to prevent Schuenight's using certificates of deposit in the Farmer & Mechanics' bank, of Milan, to the amount of $500, which she claims are her personal property.

Mrs. Schuenight states that her husband is an habitual drunkard, but that when they were married three years ago she was not aware of the fact. He has a violent temper, she says, and treated her so cruelly that some time in August or September last she left him and went home to her parents. The husband patched up peace by promising in the presence of her parents to refrain from drinking, but, she says, he soon broke his pledge and relapsed into his former line of conduct. A quarrel on Sept. 17 culminated in his ordering her to leave the house, whereupon she returned to her parents, where she has since remained.

They have one child, a girl two years of age.
