There was a special meeting of the Council Monday evening, the absentees being Aids. Ware and Dieterle. Communications from the Board of Public Works were read recommending sidewalk8 on the west side of V. Fourth St., and on the south eide of Fuller St.; alío recommending that the ordinance relative to the use of streets, alleys, etc., be passed; :üso that the estimates for eztending the culvert on the west side of Fountain St.,nt$300; also recouimcmling that the building owned by Patriek Breiman on Fourth St., be torn down because ofjthe danger of its falllns In. A communication was received from City Treasurer Watts asking for an extensión of time for the colluction of taxes, und the same was extended to March lst. A petitlon was received i'rom John Fo gerly, et al., asking for an electric light at the intersection of Fuller and Thirteenth St. The Committee on Sewerage reported progress and asked for further time. Aid. Spokes oflered a resolutlun orderIng torn down the building of P. Brennan on Fourth St.
