Mu Editor: - Allow me to direct the nttentlou of the public to tliis important subject. In Saglnaw BDd Bay counties orusbed stoue roads are introdueed. The Germana and the Fiench havesuch pikes. The stones there are crushed by men and we have plenty of men who could be kept out of mischief by such an employment, eepeclally in the winter season. It would pay the farmers to brinsr the smnll stoues on their farms to a crusher ralis and have their roads covered with stone. I don't know of any improveïnent wblcb is more desirable thau good roads. If we could have coarse gravel that would answer, but there is nothing like a r:ul of crushed stone. Resnectfullv vours.
