Communication receiveil from the Board of Public Works recomuiending that $60 be appropriated for loweriug the simde trees and grading on Ann Et., nenr 12th. ___-- Petition nf D iw.sanrrcreorMllIer unu ra others asking for au electric light on Detroit st., at the junction of División st. Referred to street lichting committee. Aid. Jlüler from the Finalice Com mittee reported the following expenditures for the month. Con lineen t fund g ÍI3.07 Poüce ' J27.C0 Ureman's " 51054 f"r. , _, " 129.93 Street fund 854.72 Total $1.805.81 An extra was llowed to E. B. Norris for services of $50. The ordinance relative to the use of streets, alleys, etc, was pasied after some changes. Sidewalks were ordered as asked for by the Board of Public Woika, and also on the north side of Ann st., from 12th to 13th f-ts. The cominittee on sewernge reported that they would present a plan with maps at next meetimg. Aid. llerz moved: Resolved, that the Michigan Tclephone Co lubtructed to lócate a telepüone at lije 2d wurd scuool house. Carried. John Condcn was appointed special pólice at the T. & A. A. depot to serve without pay from the city. City Treasurer Watts reported the following balances.
