County Republican Club
There was a meeting of the County Republican Club Tuesday afternoon, which was quite well attended. The first business before the meeting was the election of tliree delegates to the convention of Republican Clubs to be held at Philharmonic hall, Detroit, on Friday noon, Feb. 21st, and the followirjg were r.hosen : Henry S. Boutelle, Ypsilanti. A. F. Freeman, Manchester. J. T. Jacobs, Ana Arbor, The election of offleers was ihen proceeded wlth with the following result: President- Frank C. Morlarty. of Ypsilanti. Secretary- C. E. MutKChel, of Ann Arbor. TreaBUrer- George J. Crowell, of Clielsea. The treasurer reported $18 on hand la the bank drawing interest. A committee of three consisting of J. E. Bral, II. S. Dean, each of Ann Arbor, and Jabez Wortley, of Ypsihinti, wcre appointed on transportaron and to inakc the necessary arrangements at Detroit. Any republican in the. county who desires to attend the banqaet of the Michigan Club at Detroit, on the evening of Feb. 21st, can do so by pajlng for the banquet ticket and 50 cents dues to the County Club.
