Harkins fe Granger are to give an entertainment at the opera house tliat will be very unique Ín íts way. The entertainment will consist of a musical comedy in tliree acta, entitled "Just Landed - Dan and Otto," writto4i by themselves, and ir.tended lo bring out tlieir own specialties. One ofourtailors lias ollered $G3 for the buttons that will bö swept up the next morning. Among the specialties will be a song iinported from Ireland by one of our prominent citizens especially íor Harkins. lt is a lulu! The large audience at the Avenue Theatre was shnply captured br that funny comedy "We, Va & Co." last nlght. The fun was started by Miss Stella Marie singing a bailad in tlie first act. Miss Marie is pretty, has a sweet voice and acts well. Dr. Mulico Mutlicus, a veterinavy surgcon, as prescnted by Mr. Ed. Chrissie, was immense. To look at h is face was enough to inake onc laugh, and to liear Iiis songs and jokes adds to the general mirthfulness. As the farmer he was perfect; as the savage, absurd, and as the liighlander, most rldlculous. Mr. Walter Jones' dude was the most comical animal of that variety seen here in n long time. Miss Nellie Collins did some good dancing. She, as well as all the ladies, is pretty, and sings quite sweetly. The song and dance in the second act was one of the prettiest things done on the Avenue stage for many a day. The play has no plot, but it has caught on. - New Orleans Picayune. "We, Üs & Co." three acts of musical bits and dances and funny sayings, kept the audience at the Savannah Theatre laughing heartily last niglit. Mr. Frank Slocum, the manager, does not cali it a play but "the great laughing success," and that is expressive and correct. Three or four years ago it was seen here with Win. Mestayer, Theresa Vauhn and Gus Bruno in the cast. It niay sound extravagant to one who remembers that company and has not seen this, but it is a fact that this cast gives fully as good a performance as the original company. All of the members are god. Mr. Chrissie, Mr. Walter Jones and Miss Collins, were especially clever. Mr. Jones was not expected to come up to the almost inimitable dialect imitator, Bruno, but he was every bit as goo I. As an eccentric comedian Mr. Chrissie is in lns element, and he illustrate3 an oild type of character whicli, with al) the burlesque, is readily seen to be drawn froin Ufe. Miss Collins was repeatedly recallid l'or her light and graceful dancing. Miss Marie, Miss Taft, Miss Taylor, Mr Branick, Mr. Feger and Mr. Ileadway were all very pleasing In their droll parts. The piece was repeated at a matinee and will be given agaiu
