Dr. and Mrs. Breakey entertained a numberof tbeir friends in a very pleasant way last Tuesday evening. J. S. Henderson has been home froni Cleveland for tbe past week or ten days, and is conflned to bis house by quite serious illness. Misses Nina and Jennie Davison returned Monday from a three month's stay at Silver Creek, Chautauqua Co., New York, Toledo, O., and at Adrián. J. L. Bubuock returned last Thursday from a plcasure trip to the blue grass region of Kentucky, the Mammoth Cave, etc. His description of the Louisville ilestruction is quite vivid. Prof. Osband bas been visiting friends at bis old home in Newark, N. Y., this weck, and is expected home to-morrow, witb his dausfhter Miss Mama, who bas furnished us such readable letters from Washington. - Ypsilantian. E. K. He still has great faitb th.it natural gas exists in the earth hereabouts and would in vest in the sinking of another well to obtain It.- Dundee Reporter, Mr. Oscar Fiebring of the firm of Ficbring and Killilea of Milwaukee, visited our city over Sunday at Mrs. Dr. Hartley's. Mrs. Fiebring and Mr. Fiebring had been the guest of Mrs. Dr. Heartley for the past two weeks. AU three left Mondiiy morning for Milwaukee. Mr. Fiebrinsf is one of our Ann Arbor law graduates of 1879 or '80, and was very mucli pleased with t!ie improvements of our city.
