In lookinsr over sorae old papers the editor of tlie Couriïh recently ran across one prepared by the late ilon. John Geddes, and signed by hlm, giving a lot of Btatistica tliat look (juite singular to our eyes to-day. The census of the territory for 1830 was 81,890, and for 1834 was 85,800, the population of Washtenaw oonnty at the latter date being 14,924, and only excelled by Wayne, which h;id 17,m. Iii 1830 Washtenaw lmd 4, 10, and Wayne, 0,787 population, a rapid iucrease it will be notcil. The paper also gives the returns for delégate toCongress in 1831. Wlie Ilon. Warner Wing, democrat, was elected over Judge Samuel Dexter anti-masonlc and Mr. Williams independent. The followlug are the figures aa given: Dexter. Wlng. Williams.
