Unüer the new train schcdule whlch the Northern Pacific Kiilroad Inaugurales June lBtb, 18U0, tliere will be sixteen trans-continentul passenger trains moving daily on thls greut line, eight east bound and eisjbt westbound, exclusive of 108 local, inaiii and branch 'ine passender trains running daily west of St. Paul Ashland and Duluth in Wisconsin, Minnesota Nortli Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and Washington on its 3800 miles of track. Cha?. S. Fee, General Passenger Agent of the line at 8t. Paul, aonounces that nnder the new arrangement the first through train, the Pacific Expres-, leaves St. Paul at 8:15 a. m.,daily,with a through Pullman Palace Sleeping, Car, leaving Chicago daily at 5:30 p. m. via the Chicago, Müwaukee & St. Paul Railway, running via Helena and Tacoma direct to Portland, and making close connections at St. Paul with all trains lcaving Si. Louis In the forenoon and Chicago in the aflernoon of the previous day, arriving at. Tacoma 10:50 a. m. of the third day and Portland the same afternoon. The second through train, No. 1, the Paciiic Mail, leavinj; St. Paul at 4:15 p. m., daily, making close connections with the "Kast Mail,'' and all night tralus out of Chicago, will carry athroujth Pullman Palace Sleeping Car and one or more Pullman Tourist Sleeping Cars leaving Chicago at 10:45 daily via the Wisconsin Central line, running through to Portland vía Helena and Tacoma. Both trains out of St. Paul will carry Pullman Tourist Sleeping Cars and Dining Cars, but f ree coionUt sleepers will be run only on train No. 1, leartng St. Paul at 4:15 p in. The Northern Pacific now operateá the largest equipment of dining cars of any ruil rond in the world, twenty-four, and also the longest Pullman sleeping car line in existence, namely: Chicago to Portland vin Tacoma, and is the only line running these sleepers to the principal trade centres and pleasure resorts in Northern Minnesota, North üakota, Manitob:i, Montana and Washington.
