The '92 laws are organizing a champion foot ball team. The Choral Union now has 230 metnbers, the extreme limit. The tug of war bctween the Presbinan and Soplimores will tuke place Nov. 8. The Albions were defeated Siturday by the U. of M. rugby team, by a score of 1G to 0. The University library has received an Importatlon of 400 volumes of valuable books trom Qerm-tny. Tlie Student's Lectura Assodation tickets have arrived, and are now on sale at Moore & Taber's on State 8t., and at the post office news depot. Secure one early. The new lectureship on dermatoloy wlth a clínic occurs Tucsday at 10:30. jiteresting cases come before the class and with all the other clinics is increasng rapidly in work. The Beta Theta Pi Club of Michigan ïas been organized with a capital stock of $30,000 for buying land and building a fraternity house. The directors are Junius E. Beal, J.J.Goodyear, J.H.Tufts F. L. Parker of Ann Arbor, Wm. A. Moore and Levi T. Griftin of Detroit and Jolm II. Grant of Manistee. The Palladlum prizes, wbich will be announced next week are as follows: Full page design, lst prize, 10; 2nd prize, 510. This design may be for title page, fraternity page, college organiz:itions or :or any department. Song, $10; poem L10. These prlzes are open to alumni and undergraduates, of all the departnents of the university and it is boped that a large number will compete for them. Profs.
