Mrs. Elizabeth Koyer left yesterday for Florida. Wm. F. Rehfuss, of Manchester, was in the city Monday. Ernest Maun, of Detroit, spent Sunday in the city with relatives. Frank Pond, of Durand, was in the city over Sunday visiting relatives. C. S. Durand, of Detroit, spent Sunday in tlie city, theguest of A.W. Ames. D. C. Fall went to Albion last Saturday to help observe his mother's 78th birthday. Mrs. H. S. Cheever of Ann Arbor, was here last week to visit her mother, Mrs. Tilton. - Tecumseh Herald. J. T. Shaw, of the First National Bank of Detroit, spent Sunday in the city the guest of E. F. Mills. Mr. Harry Seyniour, of Silver Creek, N. Y., is visiting his cousin, C. B. Davison, 87 West Huron street. Miss Matilda Neuman, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of Rev. and Mrs. C. Haag the past week. - Chelsea Herald. Miss Charlotte Hutzel, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Steinbach the past week. - Chelsea Herald. Mrs. E. J. Knowlton has gone to Boston, Mass., to visit her daughter, Mrs. Will T. Whedon, for a few weeks. Allen B. Pond, of Chicago, is spending a couple of weeks at the home of his father on S. State st., recuperating. Miss Francés l'atterson and Miss Hannah Patterson, of Westfield, N. Y., are visiting their brother, Prof. Geo. AV. Patterson. Prof. J.C. Knowlton was down town Monday, and his friends were very glad to greet him, and to note that he is improving in health. Volney Chapin, of St. Johns, has been home for several days during the week, visiting his mother, Mrs. C. A. Chapin, on Lawrence st. Mr. Chapin is the newly appointed postmaster at St. Johns. ■ m m ■
