From The People
Editor Courikr :- In your last issue was a most excellent suggostion relative to the needs of this city in the way of a new hotel. The vritt:r is correct in his eonclnsiong. We do need a good hotel. But there is another need. A first-class auditorium that can be used for lectures and entertainments that are not allowed in University hall. It has been suggested that the corner of State and N. University ave., or State and Liberty streets would be the proper place to lócate such a building. It seems as thougli such an enterprise would pay a good per cent. on the investment. Our city is on the broad road to prosperity and all of these irnprovements will come. It is only question of time.
