Diet When The Tongue Is Coated
For one whose tongue is thickly coated and who wishes to g-et his digestive apparatus in a inore healthy state, a bread and milk diet is one of the best, the milk first being boiled in order to sterilize it. In e at ing fruit, remove the outside covering, and even then in many cases it would best be oooked. Unfermented bread is much more wholesome than any other kind. Simple nutritious food in proper quantity v.ill keep the system in time and healthful vigor; while improper lood. or surfeiting, or both, will surely lead tn the state of selfooisoning which the coated tongue indieates. -Dr. J.
