Whioh means the Ann Arbor Savings and Loan Association, the original society of the kind formed here in Ann Arbor, and which lias done a great deal of good already by helping many a poor nan to build and pay for a home, It is one of the best societies that Ann Arbor (Ver had, for it teaches its mernbers not only to be gaving of their pennies, but orces them to be econoniical and prompt n all their dealings. At the annual ?lection of ofticers last Priday evening he following were choseu : President- Gottlob Luick. Viro President- N. J. Kyer. -J. R. Miner. Tri-nsiirur - Frederick H. Beteer Attorm-y- Chas. H. Kline. Chnirman of the Board- John II. Gatos. (Jommittee on Sccurities- Wm. Biggs. Morgan . ΓΌ'Brien, W. E. Howe. New by-laws have been adopted, and he series system has been abolished, so hat the new members can enter at amane. Th ree hundred new shares have been subscribed. The association is in prosperous condition and should be ncouraged, as it is a home institution ud managed by men whose integrity is nquestioned.
