Monthly meeting of Washtenaw Horicultural Society will be held at the court ïouse, on Saturday, April 4th, at 2 p. m. Topics : Fruit prospecte ; Packages ; Dommitee on collection ; Preparation or shipments ; How to take care of rees planted, paper by J. Ganzhorn ; Vhat kinds of fruits to plant, paper by J. Austin Scott ; Is there a home-maket or all the strawberry plantations about ïere? by John Allmand; Do tomatoes ay ? by Spencer D. Lenuon ; Canning of tomatoes and peaches, by G. F. Allinendinger; Most profitable early potaoes, paper by H. C. Markham ; Hygenic roperties of horseradish and other adishes, paper by P. G. Sukey ; Our oads, by E. Baur. Papers should not )e over five minutes. Exhibit of flowers, useful planta, dried and preserved ruit. As this will likely be the last meeting - the berry season beginning - )efore shipments begin , fruit-growers and horticulturalists should attend promptly. The public is cordially vited.
