Mrs. May Phillips, Miss Cole, Miss Worden and Miss Cramer rendered solos tliat were pleasing. Mrs. Qeorge Wahr and Mrs. Fred Iii-t ticii, Jr., atteoded a reception gciven b.v fcheir triend Miss Bhle, in Detroit, on Saturday evening. Mrs. v. C. Fuller, bookkeeper of tlie Heil Telephone Oo., of this city, left for Lancaster, X. Y., yeeterday n. m., to visit írlenda for a short time. Members oí tlic Ajnn Arbor Press Club, accompanied by their wives- whore they had wives - spent an enJoyable evenlng at the pleasant home of Mr. and Mrs. 8. W. Beakea last Baturday. Progressive podro and other games were lndulged in, and very temptlng refroshments were servetl. The guests all voted President Beakes and wife excellent entertainers.
