Death Of Hon. Donald Mcintyre
JDonald Mclntyre dfed at hts reeldeuce on W. Huron st., Monday afterïroon, of oíd age, having reached hls 84th year. He was a nativo of Xcw York, -vvas boni in 1807, removed to Ann Arbor In 1845, and resided here licif ever since, except a period of ten yeare, 1S71 to 18S1, when he Hved at bis former home, in Johnstovrti, N. Y. He was a banker few many yeare, and had held many prominent offices. He was a regent of the I mviTsity for many years, ;incl one of the prime movere In eecuring the admission oí women on equal terms ■n-ith men. He was treasurer oí the iïistitutiim from 18G4 to 1S72. He ii.nl been marrled twloe, and leaves a wi.V aml four children: Mrs. J. H. Burleson, of Jersey City, N. J.; Mis. Rev. '. W. Wetmore, of Aun Arbor; Mrs. a. B. Pomeroy, of Wes( i)i(ii-clan;l.
