(The following letter from a lady in this city to the Detroit Tribune, in reference to a recent article by Mrs. Bwlng, which wae published in the Courler, may be of considerable inteiH'st to some of our readers): I read with inuch interest In your Sunday'e Issue an article written by Mrs. Emina I'. Ewlng on "A dollar and a half a week, or how a faniily oi four may have'Choice fare at $1.50 and $1.75 per capita." It included the bilí oí fare for each meal of the entire weck, and gave the result of hor owii experimenta with a family of four adulto, which was $7.00 for the weck or $1.75 iper capita. Mre. I have taken pains to make an estímate of one ilay at our own marki-t prices and, in quantities nccording to my Judgment for four adulte. Takins her Sunday's bill of fare, that being the plainest on the list, I am appalled at the result, as compared with Mrs. Ewins's figures. For the benefit of those who are interested in Rood, nutritious and even luxurious liviag, at the minimum priec. I will give it: BREAKFAST.
