As is familiárly known the dry goods house of Mack & Schmicï, easily occupies the fo remos t rank in the country. Aside f rom their dry goods business they are keenly alive to the welfare of the city, every worthy enterprise receiving their hearty co-operation and support. The firm is composed of Messrs. Christian Mack, Frederick Schmid and W alter C. Mack; the latter giving his entire attention to the direction of the business of "The Store," and to whose efforts may iie attributed the wonderful growth oí' their business, their sales for the past year benig more than doublé that of any previous year. They are now busiiy engaged in preparing for tlie spring business. and are giving wonderi'ul bargains to make room for spring parchases.
