Manager Beckner has signally proven his ability to select f rom the great rnass of material, the best to be had that it would be strange if he would permit a " poor show " to occujjy the boards. Of all the entertainments tlkat have contributed to the delight of a Roanoke audience, we venture to say that none have excelled the Noss Family. Pure, chaste and refined, this remarkable company compass in their programme a bewildering variety of most enchanting music drawn from the most unreasonaable sources imaginable, which embrace the flnest and most elabórate instruments down to bottles, buckets, slaw cutters, sticks and churns. It is a remarkable family, each one gifted with rare musical talent, which erop out in every movement. The audience, last night evinced their delight by continu ous applause, and would willingly have been entertained until midnight.
