At the meeting of Welch Post, No. 137, G. A. K., last Friday evening, the following resolutions were adopted : Whkreas, Death has ouoe more eutered our rauks aud thereby removed from our midst our comrade Lieut. Jacob H. Stark, who departed this life on the 18th day of April, 1892, at his home in the city of Ann Arbor, being at the time 65 years of age ; therefore Resolved, That in the death of Comrade Stark, we as a Post, recognize the loss of a faithful friend, a worthy citizen, and a brave and gallant soldier, who did noble service in the war for the union from April. 1861, to February, 1866, rising from private to the rank of lieutenant. Resolved, That we as a Post extend to his bereaved family in this their hour of great afiiiction, the heartfelt sympathy of his comrades. Resolved, That a copv of these resolutions b presented to his family, aud that the same be spread upon the record's of the Post. W. K.Childs, Hl A. SWEET. J. A. Marshall.
