Board Of Public Works

Regular meeting. Called to order by President Keech. Roll called. Present, Messrs. Keech Schuh, and Mclntyre. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved . Mr. Keech wás chosen president for the ensuing year. Mr. Schnh moved in obedience to the resolution of the Commou Council, the Clerk is hereby ordered to advertise for sealed bids on two car loads of first class 3-inch hemlock plank for sidewalks. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that the bids for new stone culvert on Felch St., across Mili race, be taken from the table and reported to the Common Council. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Mclntyre moved that the Clerk advertise for sealed bids for the construction of culverts on Hill street and Fifth street, according to plans and speciflcations now on file. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that the matter of employing a surveyor be left to Mr. Schuh and report at our next meeting. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schnh and Mclntyre. The Street Commissioner was directed to grade point between Detroit and Beakes streets and also put in the necessary sewer pipe on Detroit street, from División street north to Mr. Weidlich's property, under the direction of Mr. Mclntyre. The street bilis for the month of April were audited by the Board. On motion the Board adjourned.
