[OFFICIAL.] Office of tfie Board of Public Wobks, i Asn Arbor, Mich., Sep. 14, 18tó. j Regular meeting. Board met and was called to order )y Pres. Keech. lioll ealled. Full board present. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. A communication signed by James I. Wade, esq., secretary of the Board of Regents, was read and ordered iiled, and the Street Commissioner was ordered to at once do such work that will meet the demands of a resolution passed by the Council, and certify the expense to this Board. John F. Lawrence, esq., submitted the Lawrence additionforits approval. Mr. Keecli moved that the plat of Jolm F. Lawrence be accepted, and hat the same be submitted to the 3ommon Council for their approval, rovided that Mr. Lawrence furnish ;he City Engineerwith acopy of center stakes of streets and alleys, and witïesses of the same. Yeas.- Messrs. Keecli, Schuh, and Aclntyre. ïlie Sidewalk Inspector reported that he had personally inspected the rdevvalks ordered to be built and that sidewalks had not as yet been constructed by J. E. Beal, treas. of the Wesleyan guild, on west side of State street; David DeForest estáte, on west side oí División street, and Mrs. W. F red Schlanderer, on south side of Washington street, or by any person on their behalf, and that said sidewalks are in poor condition and ought to be rebuilt without delay. Mr. Keech moved that the report be received and filed, and the Street Commissioner is hereby ordered to take the necessary steps to bnild all sidewalks so reported not built to this board. Yeas.- Messrs. Keech. Schuh, and Mclntyre. The City Ewgineer submitted memoranda for sidewalk and street grades. Mr. Keech moved that the grades be accepted and submitted to the Common Council, and that the grade be changed as submitted per proiile on E. Catherine street, between Observatory and Thirteenth streets. Yeas.- Messrs. Keech. Schuh, and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that we recommend and ask the Common Council to appropriate the sum of $80 to bnild two crossings on the south side of Washington street at alleys between Main and Ashley streets, and Main street and Fourth avenue. Yeas.- Messrs. Keech, Schuh, and Mclntyre. The Board then adiourned.
