Fu!l Board present. .Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. A eommiinication from Robert Hunter was read, asking for a permit to move a barn from No. 4 Huron Street to his residence lío. 109 W. Iluron St. On motion of Mr. Keech a permit was granted to Robert Ilunter to move said barn. Mr. Keech moved that permission be and is hereby franted to Airs. Bilbie to remove a shade tree in front of her property on E. Huron street, provided that the Street Commissioner see tbat no harm is done by said removal, to the city at large. Adopted as follows: Yeas - Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Permission was granted to John Wagner, on S. Main street, to build a 6-foot sidewalk at his place of business provided, that vvhen a 13 foot walk is ordered, said Wagner will comply with such order. On motion of Mr. Keech, the City Engineer was ordered to report and submit to this Board, proflies and memorandas for street and sidewalk grades on the following streets: On Fonrteenth street, from Ann to Belser streets. On Washtenaw avenue, from Geddes avenue to the city limita. The City Engineer reported and submitted memorandas for sidewalk grades on the south side of Packard street, from 6th avenue to Hanover Square. On the west side of S. Main street, from Liberty street to William street. On the east side of S. Ashley street, from William street to Jefferson street. On motion of Mr. Keech the grades were accepted and submitted to the Common Council for adoption. On motion the Board adjoiuned. VV. ,1. Milleu, Clerk. Absent, Mr. Schuh. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. A eommiinication from J. M. Orr was read and referred to Mr. Schuh and the Street Commissioner. On motion the Board adjourned. W. J. Milleu, Clerk. Ann Arbor, May 17, 1S93. Regular meeting. Called to order bp the President. Roll cali. Full board present. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. City Engineer Key, submitted profile of a proposed sidewalk grade on the northeast side of Washtenaw avenue to Hill street. After oonsulting with the board and a mimber of proporty owners, a satisfactory grade of Washtenaw avenue was agreèa upon. On motion of Mr. Schuh, a ballot for president of the board was taken. which resulted in electing Mr. Thomas J. Keech, president for ensuing year. The clerk reported that the common council had p.issed a resolution directing the Boara to have the sidewalk in front ot the engine house built. The matter was referred to Mr. Mclntyre and Chief Sipley. The City Engineer submitted sidewalk grades for the eust and west side of Second street, from Madison to Jefferson streets, on Church street west side ftom College street to Washtenaw avenue. On motion of Mr. Keech the grades were approved and recomniended to the common council for approval. On motion of Mr. Keech, Prof. Chas. E. (in-en was appointed cosulting engineer on building the proposed sewer. - Aid. Martin invited the board to be present at the sewer committee meeting Friday evening, May I9th, 1893. On motion the board adjourned.
