( itliee uf the Board of Public Works, [ Anu Arbor, May 24, 180). Regular meeting. Called to order by President Keech. Koll called. Present, Messrs. Keecli and Mclntyre. Absent, Mr. Schub. The committee appointed at the last meeting, and to whom was referred the matter of building an artificia] stone walk at the engine house, reported that they (ind and recommend that an artificial stone walk be built at said engine house according to specilications submitted by the Michigan Artificial Stone Company. Mr. Mclntyre moved that the bid of the Michigan Artificial Stoue Co. be accepted, work to be conducted under supervisión of the Committee and Street Commissioner. Yeas- Messrs. Keech and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that M. Stablerbe granted permission to move office building along the following route: East on Huron street to Ashley street, north on Ashley street to Ann street, east on Ann street to Main street, north on Main street to Depot street, east on Depot street to Stabler's coal sheds. Minutes of previous meetings read and approved. ïhe street bilis for the month of May were read and audited by the Board. The City Engineer submitted sidewalk grades for northeast Washtenaw Avenue, from Wilmot street to Ilill street; on Ilill street south side frojn East University Ave. to Tappan street. On motion of Mr. Keech the grades were approved and recommended to the Common Council for approval. Mr. Keech moved that the Street Commissioner notify Mr. Ilewitt to build sidewalks according to the sidewalk ordinance. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that the Clerk notify the Ann Arbor Gas Co. and the Ann Arbor Water Co. to submit to this Board for filing in this office a map with the localities of all their mains in our streets. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Mclntyre moved that the Street Commissioner have our wood market cleaned at once. Yeas- Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. Mr. Keech moved that the Street Commissioner see that the gas and water companies comply with the ordinance relativa to streets and the laying of mains. Yeas - Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Mclntyre. On motion the Board adjourned.
