The Faculty concert of Thureday eveningr, June 15, was oi f the Buestoftfae Beries. Eacb participant Beemed inspired by the occasion and the result was a most excellent performance of the beautiful program. The Greeg Sonata and the Foote Quaftet are representative modern works and were thoroughly wel! rendered. In the latter number Mr. J. Erich Schmaal gave another proof of his exceptional muaicianship by playing the viola part in a masterly manner. The closing Pupils Recital was no lesa worthv of extended notice. The various selections in tliis exacting program were given in a manner far removed from the ordinary pupil standard. The performances were artistic and in many cases revealed raaturity of musical thought. Tin1 catalogues for tlie season of '93 and '94 naay I' obtained at the music stores, al Newberry Hall and at the Steward's office and will lie mailed to anv address. The Director desires to secure lists of people interested in music and Buch addresses sent to him by mail or otherwise will receive prompt attention.
