The members of the (lee and Banjo Clubs were unfortunate in choosing ;i miserable night tor tlieir concert. It rained inressantly, and the walks and Btreeta were eovered wlth elther glary ice or puddlea ot water shoe deep, making it alinost iinposslhle tor people to go out at all. Xotwithstandlng that faet, títere were a goodiy nnmber in attendance and thote who were there spent a delightful evening. The clubs are in excellent training and give tlieir audience a genuine good and enjoyable eyening. As a prominent gentleman remarked in passing out of the hall, "The beauty ol thls entertainment is, you eau say you really enjoyed it, without teeling down in your heart that you have lied." Tlie banjo club Is onder better discipline and training than it has ever been before, or else it is composed of better musiclans, tor their work deserves little crlticlsm. The glee elub gave the audlenee what thcy are aluays led to expect trom a lot of college boys. a number ol' rolllcking, mirtli provpklng gongs, leadIng oii' with tilt' ''YellOW and l'.luc." and closlng with "Ann Arbor." It i a pleasure to pass through l'Mldway" wit li Mr. Miner and the boys, and Mi-. I'r.iit with "Polly my Sweet Heart," and Mr. Spltiley ''On Ouard" were excellent. The chalr drill liad . urea that were heartlly appreclated. To prove how appre clative and enthusiastlc the audience were it is but necessary to state thai every oumber glven was encored and gome ol them two or three times. There were 1" oumbers on the programme and 86 aumbers were glven. li you want to hear a beautlful air. gei gome member oí the club to hum over the delightful me entitled, 'Sllently Bteal Away," The Clubs are entitled to large audlences, wherever they go.
