Minutes oí the previous meeting read mul approved. The sevver and street bilis for the tnonth of December were read and audited by the Board and their iaytnents recommended by tlie Cominon Council at suins stated. Pres. ('ulied to order by Pres. Kuech, Rol] called. Full Board present. Minutes of the previous meeting read and ápproved. The following members of the Sewer I Committee present: Aids. Maltin, Snow, Ferguson, Manly, also Pres. Watts General Superintendent Ashley and Chief Engineer Riggs, of the T.. A. A. & M. II. R., were present by request of the Board of Public Works, in refof the Board of Public Works, in reference to procuring the right of way over the property of the T., A. A.& N. M. K. R. Mr. Ashley stated that the road was willing to give the city the right of way for the niain sewer. on eondition that the company be given permission to cross First and Williana streets with a spur track along First Street, the track to be in six i'eet from property line. All the members of the board and the aldermen present favored the proposition. Whereupon, Mr. Ashley said with such understanding that hls proposition would be aceepted, the city could enter upon the railroad property at once. On motion the board adjourned to Thursday evening.
